FrontLines is a fully hosted application service provider (ASP) service that is completely managed and maintained within a Class 'A' data center. You do not need to install or maintain any software or hardware at your site. You need not involve your IT resources at all. All updates to FrontLines are performed by our knowledgeable staff and made available to you immediately. Backups are done nightly.

In addition to multiple, redundant backbone connections Magma has invested significant resources in all facets of its operation.
This class "A" facility is equipped with:

One of Magma's key success factors has been performance. Magma's network is one of only a few "multi-homed" ISP networks in Canada, consisting of redundant backbone connections to five major backbone providers and two Internet Exchanges, the Toronto Internet Exchange (TORIX) and the Ottawa Internet Exchange (Ottix). The backbone connections include:

  1. a 155Mbps (OC3) connection to Bell Nexxia.
  2. a 155Mbps (OC3) connection to Allstream (formerly AT&T Canada).
  3. a 100Mbps connection to MCI (formerly Worldcom).
  4. a 100Mbps connection to Sprint Canada
  5. a 100Mbps connection to Peer1.
  6. a 100Mbps connection to TORIX.
  7. a 100Mbps connection to Ottix.
The combination of these backbone connections provides Magma with aggregate backbone bandwidth of over 810 Mbps!
